Professional Forester

Description:
Depending on experience, duties could include timber cruising, timber valuation, assisting in timberland appraisals, GIS processing, project management and field crew supervision.  Position will entail travel throughout the Pacific Northwest, California and Alaska; with a majority of the travel occurring in Western Oregon and Western Washington.

Education and experience requirements:
AA or BS degree in Forestry or Natural Resources.  Two years experience in timber cruising in the Pacific Northwest.  Timber valuation or appraisal experience preferred but not required.  Strong leadership, communication and writing skills.  Proficiency with MS Windows, MS Word and MS Excel software and an understanding of GIS concepts and applications.
