NEW! Our new Pocket Super EASY timber cruise input program has been released!

Timber cruise data input program for the Pocket PC.  The software is easy to use, easy to learn, and very capable.   Pocket Super EASY communicates with the SuperACE 2006 timber cruise program via Active-Sync. Users can easily download cruise data to their desktop or laptop PC and upload tables to the Pocket PC.  Saves time and money, and increases the accuracy of data collection.

Features:

  • Store data on a flash card or internal memory
  • Extremely easy to move between menu options with simple clicks of the stylus

 Advantages of switching to Pocket Super EASY and a Pocket PC:
  • See multiple lines of data on the screen at one time (5 to 9 trees depending on the data input mode)
  • EASY download of data using Active Sync
  • Run multiple programs at the same time (i.e. ArcPad, Pocket Word, and Pocket Super EASY)
  • Store cruise data on a flashcard (markedly improves data safety)
  • Old DOS handhelds and DOS operating system are no longer supported
  • New laptops rarely have serial ports which makes downloading problematic with old handhelds

To use the Pocket Super EASY program, users must upgrade to the new SuperACE 2006.
Pocket Super EASY runs on Pocket PCs with Windows Mobile 2003 or Windows Mobile 5.0 operating systems.
A version for Microsoft Windows CE .NET V4.2 will be available soon.
Recommended Pocket PCs include the TDS Recon handheld as well as the TDS Ranger. The TDS Ranger operates in landscape mode by default, allowing users to see even more data for individual trees.

Software/SuperACE SuperACE 2006
Now capable of receiving data from Pocket Super EASY. The Super Accurate Cruise Extension timber cruise program is designed to measure and report board feet, cubic feet, and timber values. It is a Windows-based timber cruising program that runs on Windows 2000 and XP Pro. SuperACE has user definable tables including species, sort, grade, cost, and price tables. Sampling systems include proportional plot (prism), fixed area, strip cruise, 100%, and combinations of these. Flexible tree measurements and cruise design. Heights may be measured to a bole height or total height. Logs may be defined with fixed lengths or variable lengths. Reports include: catalog, stand table, sort-grade, log stock table, timber evaluation, statistics, and graphics. Allows variable log lengths and deductions in board feet and cubic. Reports volumes in cubic and board foot rules. Microsoft Access Database is viewable by users. Reports are easily transferred to other windows applications such as Microsoft Word and Excel.
